Suspect Arrested in Shooting at The Villages at Roll Hill

A suspect has been taken into custody following a tragic shooting incident in The Villages at Roll Hill, which resulted in the death of one individual last week. The incident occurred on December 15th at approximately 4:14 p.m. on Williamsburg Drive.

Upon their arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers swiftly located the victim, who was found outside in the grass, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was promptly transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, but unfortunately succumbed to their injuries shortly after arrival. The authorities have identified the deceased as Mycole Smith, a 19-year-old.

Following an intensive investigation, the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit announced on Wednesday that they have apprehended a suspect in connection with the shooting. The arrested individual has been identified as Xavier Smith, aged 20. He now faces charges of murder related to the incident.
