Plymouth Murder Investigation: Luzerne County Coroner Identifies Victim
PLYMOUTH, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Luzerne County Coroner has identified the victim involved in a tragic homicide that took place in Plymouth on Wednesday.
Ann Murphy, a 66-year-old resident, was pronounced dead at her residence located in the 220 block of Gardner Street, according to Coroner Jill Matthews.
The cause of Ann Murphy’s untimely demise has been determined as multiple stab wounds and blunt head trauma, as stated by Matthews.

A search warrant, obtained by 28/22 News, has revealed that the investigation is currently focusing on an individual named Elliot Steed. However, Steed has not yet been officially named as the suspect involved in the crime.
As of now, Elliot Steed remains in police custody, pending further investigation and evidence collection.
