A shocking incident unfolded in North York earlier this month, resulting in the death of a 46-year-old man. Toronto Police responded to a distress call reporting a stabbing near Bayview Avenue and Highway 401 at approximately 4:30 a.m. on December 2nd.

Authorities revealed that the fatal stabbing occurred during a heated confrontation inside a residential property. The suspect managed to escape before the arrival of law enforcement officers but was subsequently apprehended upon returning to the scene. The victim, Juan Carlos Gomez Salgado, was immediately rushed to the hospital with critical injuries, but sadly, his condition deteriorated, leading to his untimely demise on December 11th.

The Toronto Police have charged a 35-year-old man with second-degree murder and assault in connection with the incident. The suspect was scheduled to appear in court on December 19th.
