Man Fatally Shot in Newport News Identified as Godfrey Junior Davidson

The identity of the man who tragically lost his life in a shooting incident on Sunday night in Newport News has been revealed. The victim has been identified as Godfrey Junior Davidson, a 29-year-old individual.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. when the police received a distressing report of a shooting in the 1100 block of 28th Street. Responding officers found Mr. Davidson outside, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
