Mysuru, December 20: A tragic incident unfolded in Hunsur town of Karnataka’s Mysuru district as a young homemaker and a 20-year-old man took their own lives after a picture of them went viral. The deceased individuals have been identified as Shruthi, a 28-year-old married woman, and Murali, a 20-year-old resident of Kalgunige.

The Viral Picture Sparks Controversy

An innocuous photograph, taken during a friendly encounter between Murali and Shruthi, became the center of attention when it was uploaded on Murali’s status. The picture quickly spread across various social media platforms, causing it to go viral.

Families Engage in a Heated Quarrel

Upon learning about the viral picture, tensions escalated between the families of Shruthi and Murali. The situation rapidly deteriorated, leading to a heated quarrel. Fearing the consequences and unable to cope with the mounting pressure, Shruthi tragically hanged herself at her residence. Devastated by the loss, Murali also decided to end his life.
