Man Arrested in San Francisco’s Oceanview Neighborhood Shooting

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — San Francisco police have announced the apprehension of a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in the Oceanview neighborhood last week.

Christopher Kyle Marsh, 46, was taken into custody by officers on Thursday morning around 11:40 a.m. The arrest took place in the 5500 block of Mission Street. Marsh is a suspect in the homicide of Jorge Villagran, 48.

According to detectives, the incident took place at approximately 2:39 a.m. on December 13. The San Francisco officers responded to a report of a shooting near the intersection of San Jose and Plymouth avenues. Upon arrival, they discovered a man with gunshot wounds.

The victim, identified as Jorge Villagran, was pronounced dead at the scene.
