Two Men Arrested for Malice Murder in Clarke County, Georgia

CLARKE COUNTY, Ga. – Two individuals have been apprehended by the Athens-Clarke County Police Department in connection with a malice murder case. The investigation unfolded after the discovery of a lifeless body near the train tracks in Clarke County earlier this month.

On the afternoon of December 3rd, at approximately 1:34 p.m., the Athens-Clarke County Police Department stumbled upon the lifeless remains of an unidentified man. The body was found in the vicinity of Willow Street and North Avenue, adjacent to the train tracks.

Arrests Made in Connection with the Murder

The Athens-Clarke County Police Department wasted no time in their pursuit of justice. They have successfully apprehended two suspects believed to be involved in the murder. The arrested individuals have been identified as 46-year-old Andre Carthens and 31-year-old Antion “Blue” Parks, both residents of Athens.
