Three Individuals Under Investigation Following Fatal Crash in McAllen

Three individuals are currently under investigation by the police after a tragic incident in McAllen, Texas. The incident involved a Honduran man who crashed into a local business and sadly succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital.

One of the suspects, Eliezer Morales, is known to reside in McAllen, while the other two individuals, Jose Govany Ipina-Rosales and Ana Karen Ramirez, are believed to be from Mexico.

The victim, identified as 25-year-old Raymundo Martinez-Gutierrez, was originally from Honduras.

On Tuesday at 8:07 p.m., the McAllen Police Department received a distress call reporting an ongoing disturbance in the 2800 block of Business Highway 83.

According to the caller, a vehicle had crashed into a local business, and the driver appeared unconscious inside the vehicle.

Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers discovered Martinez slumped over and unresponsive in the vehicle.

The officers immediately called for emergency medical services (EMS) and it was determined that Martinez had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

Martinez was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.

A news release stated, “In the subsequent investigation, responding officers determined that the victim had been involved in a domestic disturbance at the 2700 Block of Date Palm Ave. Upon departing the scene of the disturbance, the victim was shot by the suspect(s).”

The McAllen Police Department believes that the victim and the suspects were acquainted with each other.

The authorities are now actively seeking information from the public regarding the whereabouts of the suspects.
