A man who was shot in Crest Hill, Illinois, succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday afternoon, according to local authorities.

Shooting Incident on Elizabeth Court
Police officers responded to a report of shots fired around 1 p.m. in the area of Elizabeth Court. Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim inside a vehicle.
Emergency medical services from Lockport Township arrived at the scene and provided immediate medical assistance. Despite their efforts, the victim could not be saved and passed away from his injuries, as confirmed by the police.

Second Fatal Shooting on Elizabeth Court
This incident marks the second fatal shooting on Elizabeth Court in just over three weeks. On November 25, another man was discovered lying on the ground in the 1100 block of Elizabeth Court with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim, identified as 31-year-old Uarl Hunter, was immediately rushed to St. Joe’s hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away while receiving medical treatment.
