A man named Tandasi Shanmukha Rao dug up his house in Visakhapatnam allegedly in search of a hidden treasure. Locals reported the digging activity to the police, who took him into custody. However, nothing was found except a 15 feet deep pit. Shanmukha Rao, a Divyangjan, started the digging process with the help of laborers, following the instructions of a Guru for the Vastu of his house. He denied any involvement in the search for hidden treasure and claimed that he was blackmailed by four individuals posing as media persons and lost Rs. 80,000.

Tollywood stars Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi visited former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in a private hospital in Telangana after his hip replacement surgery. Photos of Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi meeting KCR in the hospital have been circulating on social media. Chiranjeevi informed the media that KCR is recovering well after the surgery. KCR underwent the surgery after fracturing his left hip in a fall at his farmhouse. The hospital confirmed that the surgery was successful and KCR is expected to fully recover in 6 to 8 weeks.

A 29-year-old man, the prime accused in kidnapping cases using police uniforms, was arrested in Mahendergarh. The man, identified as Vikas or Vicky, was involved in more than a dozen crime cases across districts in Haryana and Rajasthan. He was apprehended while about to commit a crime wearing a police uniform. Vikas also faces charges of robbery, assault, kidnapping, and illegal possession of weapons. The police seized a uniform of an Assistant Sub Inspector of Haryana Police, a locally made pistol, and a rifle from his possession.
