Investigation Underway into Fatal Stabbing on 11th Street, NW

The Metropolitan Police Department’s (MPD) Homicide Branch is currently conducting an investigation into a tragic incident involving a fatal stabbing that occurred on the 19th of December. The incident took place on the 1200 block of 11th Street, NW.
Based on MPD documents, officers were called to the location in response to a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, they discovered a woman inside a residence who had sustained stab wounds. Regrettably, the victim succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased has been identified as Reyna Garcia-Lopez, a 31-year-old woman.
The MPD is offering a reward to anyone who provides information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for this heinous crime.
