“Jesus Manuel Garcia Charged with Deadly Conduct and Unlawful Carry in West Laredo Shooting Incidents”

Accident – Death – Obituary News : LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) – The search continues for a suspect believed to be involved in a series of shooting incidents that occurred in West Laredo on Sunday. The Laredo Police Department is now seeking assistance from the public in locating the individual responsible for these dangerous acts.

According to reports, the Laredo Police received a distressing call regarding shots fired in the early hours of Sunday, approximately around 1 a.m. This incident took place at the 3000 block of Pinder, where law enforcement officials swiftly arrived to assess the situation. Authorities discovered that two vehicles were reportedly involved in the incident, namely a black SUV and a grey passenger vehicle.

Further investigation by the police led them to the black Mercedes SUV, which was found at the 500 block of Lafayette. Inside the vehicle, officers uncovered two firearms – a semi-automatic handgun and an AR-15 style rifle – along with casings. However, as officers were detaining the driver of the SUV, a grey passenger car drove by and recklessly discharged a gun in the presence of the law enforcement personnel.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of this reckless action. However, the grey car involved in the incident has not yet been located by the authorities. Laredo Police Investigator Joe Baeza expressed concern over the incident, stating, “Over the weekend, they were actively searching for the vehicle. At this point, it remains at large. If anyone possesses any information about this vehicle or the person responsible for this audacious act in the presence of law enforcement, we urge you to come forward immediately.”

The driver of the black SUV has been identified as 28-year-old Jesus Manuel Garcia. In addition to the incident at the 3000 block of Pinder, Garcia is also alleged to have been involved in a separate deadly conduct incident at the 2900 block of Lee. As a result of the investigation, Garcia has been charged with deadly conduct and unlawful carry.

The Laredo Police Department is appealing to the public for any information that could assist in locating the grey car and identifying the individual responsible for these dangerous acts. Law enforcement agencies are counting on the cooperation of the community to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.
