Patna, December 18 – In a significant development, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Gopalganj police has successfully cracked the sensational murder case of Manoj Kumar Shah, a caretaker of a Shiv temple. The SIT made a breakthrough by arresting three individuals on Monday, namely Neha Kumari, Sunita Devi, and Amit Kumar, all residents of Koini Danapur under Manjha police station in the Gopalganj district.

Manoj Shah left the Shiv temple at 12:45 am on December 11 and proceeded to Neha’s residence. Once there, Neha’s family members overpowered him, leading to a fatal outcome.

The assailants not only killed Manoj Shah but also mutilated his body before disposing of it in a pit near the Sudha dairy outlet. The horrific discovery of Shah’s mutilated remains was made on the morning of December 16. His eyes had been removed, his tongue slit, and his private parts gruesomely chopped off.
