Porter County Coroner Identifies Victim in Fatal Crash on Ind. 49
The Porter County Coroner, Cyndi Dykes, has recently revealed the identity of the victim involved in a tragic two-vehicle collision that occurred in Morgan Township during the early hours of Sunday morning, December 17th.

The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Ryan Fox, a resident of Kouts.
“The investigation into this accident is still ongoing,” stated Coroner Dykes.
According to the Porter County Sheriff’s Police, the incident took place at approximately 4:05 a.m. when a 2020 Ford SUV traveling northbound on Indiana 49 crossed the center line, for reasons yet to be determined, and collided with another vehicle heading southbound on the same road at the intersection of County Road 600 South.
Tragically, the driver of the Ford SUV was ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to their injuries at the scene, as confirmed by the police.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 2020 Toyota, sustained minor injuries and was subsequently transported to Northwest Health-Porter for evaluation, according to the authorities.
