Lancaster Road-Rage Incident Claims Life of 4-Year-Old Boy

In a tragic incident of road rage, a 4-year-old boy lost his life in Lancaster, California. The authorities have arrested two suspects in connection with the shooting that took place on Friday evening.

The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Sierra Highway and East Avenue J, as per the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The suspects have been identified as 29-year-old Byron Burkhurt and 27-year-old Alexandria Gentile, both of whom have been booked on suspicion of murder.

The authorities have not disclosed which suspect was the alleged driver in this tragic incident.

According to the investigators, the victims’ car was cut off by another vehicle, and the driver of that vehicle started following them through the surface streets. When the victims’ car slowed down, the suspect pulled up alongside the passenger side and opened fire.

Tragically, the 4-year-old boy, Gor Adamyan, who was seated in the back, was struck by gunfire in the upper body. His parents rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he was pronounced dead. The loss of such a young life has left the family devastated.

The suspects’ vehicle was found in the immediate area of the shooting, leading to the arrest of Burkhurt and Gentile on suspicion of murder.

A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to support Gor Adamyan’s family. As of Monday, the campaign has raised more than $1,600.

The family was on their way to a store to purchase groceries when the tragic shooting unfolded, according to the information provided on the fundraising page.

Expressing her condolences, Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, who represents the Lancaster area, strongly condemned the killing of the young boy.

“The death of this young boy is truly shocking,” she stated. “A family is now left without their beloved child, who meant everything to them. Our roads should never witness such random and unacceptable acts of violence. I urge the authorities to ensure that the suspects responsible for this heinous murder are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Barger also commended the swift actions of law enforcement officials, who promptly arrested the suspects and took them off the streets. She emphasized the importance of not tolerating acts of violence like this.
