Four Dead and Four Critically Injured in Tragic Road Crash on Mbarara-Ishaka Road
Tragedy struck on Tuesday when a horrific road accident occurred along the busy Mbarara-Ishaka Road, claiming the lives of four individuals and leaving four others in critical condition. The collision involved a Toyota Fielder and a Mitsubisho Canter pickup and took place at Kinaaku-Kyenkokora in Sheema District.
The devastating incident occurred at approximately 10:00 am, as the two vehicles collided head-on. According to Marcial Tumusiime, the spokesperson for the Greater Bushenyi police, the accident was a result of reckless driving.

Heartbreaking Loss and Injuries
The deceased have been identified as Kasimu Kakooza, aged 30, from Namagoma-Nsangi-Wakiso District; George Semboze, aged 69, from Rwebikoona, Mbarara City; Eria Rukwengye, aged 96, from Rweibare-Kashenshero-Mitooma District; and James Keinerugaba, an 8-year-old juvenile from Mitooma District.
The individuals in critical condition are Jolly Mushabe, aged 42, from Mbarara City; Edger Abasi, aged 30, from Mitooma District; Simon Natamba, aged 15, from Mitooma District; and an unidentified 60-year-old known only as Atuhaire from Rubindi in Mbarara District.
Tumusiime confirmed that the deceased have been transported to Kabwohe Health Center IV for postmortem examinations, while the critically injured are receiving treatment at the same facility.
