37-Year-Old Man Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances in Northeast Delhi Staff Quarter

New Delhi, Dec 19 (PTI) – In a shocking turn of events, a 37-year-old man was discovered dead under mysterious circumstances within his staff quarter located in northeast Delhi on Tuesday. The police have swiftly registered a case of murder and initiated a thorough investigation into the matter.

The deceased, identified as Ramji Lal Kumawat, was found lifeless by his wife Sudha Kumawat in their residence. Sudha, who has been married to Lal for the past 12 years and is a guest teacher in a government school, immediately informed the authorities at Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital about the tragic incident.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (northeast) Joy Tirkey stated, “A call was received from Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital regarding the death of Ramji Lal Kumawat. Police teams promptly reached the location and initiated an inquiry into the matter.”

Originally hailing from Sikar in Rajasthan, Lal worked as a nursing staff at the hospital. The couple had recently returned from Jaipur after attending a wedding before the unfortunate incident took place. Their two children were asleep in another bedroom while the couple engaged in a conversation for approximately an hour.

According to the Deputy Commissioner, Sudha woke up around 6 am and made a horrifying discovery. She found Lal lying in a pool of blood near the toilet, with a knife lying nearby. The police examination revealed a deep incised wound on the right side of Lal’s neck, leading them to register a case of murder at the New Usmanpur police station.

DCP Joy Tirkey assured, “We are actively investigating the matter, and the culprits responsible for this heinous crime will be arrested soon.”

This shocking incident has left the local community in shock and distress. The police are now focusing on collecting evidence, conducting forensic analysis, and questioning potential witnesses to shed light on the circumstances surrounding this mysterious death.

The motive behind the murder remains unknown at this point, and the police are leaving no stone unturned to unravel the truth. The community is anxiously awaiting justice for Ramji Lal Kumawat as the investigation progresses.
