New Delhi: Male Nurse Found Dead in Northeast Delhi

In a tragic incident, a 37-year-old male nurse, identified as Ramji Lal Kumawat, was discovered dead in a pool of blood outside a toilet in the New Usmanpur area of Northeast Delhi. The incident was reported to the police by the Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital at 6:52 am on Tuesday.

The deceased, Ramji Lal Kumawat, resided in the staff quarters of the Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital in Delhi. According to his wife, Sudha Kumawat, they had been married for 12 years and had two children, aged 11 and 8.

Ramji Lal Kumawat worked as a nurse at the Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital, while his wife, Sudha Kumawat, has been serving as a guest teacher in Government School, Seelampur since 2016.

On the day of the incident, the couple had returned home at 12:30 am after attending a wedding in Jaipur, Rajasthan. After putting their children to bed, they spent an hour chatting before retiring to separate rooms for the night.

Sudha Kumawat woke up at 6:05 am the next morning and made a horrifying discovery. She found her husband lying lifeless in a pool of blood outside the toilet, with a knife beside him. Ramji Lal Kumawat was rushed to the Hospital Emergency, but the doctor declared him brought dead.

The police have registered a case of murder, as a deep incised wound, measuring 12 cm X 7 cm, was found on the right side of Ramji Lal Kumawat’s neck.

This shocking incident has left the community and colleagues at Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital in a state of shock and grief. The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained, and the police are conducting a thorough investigation to bring the perpetrator(s) to justice.
