Accident – death – Obituary News : Vijayawada: A woman has gone into hiding after allegedly orchestrating the murder of her husband with the help of her lover and his accomplices in Guntur town. The victim, identified as Rama Chandraiah, was 40 years old.

The accused individuals staged the murder to appear as a suicide. However, they later confessed their crime to the village revenue officer out of fear of being arrested and subsequently surrendered themselves to the Nagarampalem police. According to the police, Rama and Ramana had relocated from Prakasam district to Guntur town a few years ago. The couple worked as daily wage laborers. Approximately five months ago, Ramana initiated an extramarital affair with her neighbor, Ramesh.

Upon discovering the affair, Rama confronted his wife and physically assaulted her. Upset and seeking revenge, Ramana conspired with her lover to have her husband killed. Ramesh enlisted the help of two friends, and together, they strangled Rama while he was asleep.
