The victim was identified as 40-year-old Amir Tawfiq, and the injured individuals are his 45-year-old brother, Nasir Hussain Tawfiq, his two-year-old daughter, Manahil, and 13-year-old Raheela Ali, who was a guest at their house.

According to the local authorities, the incident took place in an area with steep inclines. The water tanker had arrived to supply water to a residence when the driver stepped out of the vehicle and placed a cement block behind the tire to prevent it from moving. Unfortunately, the block cracked, causing the tanker to roll down the lane uncontrollably.

With great force, the tanker truck crashed into Amir Tawfiq’s house, resulting in his immediate death. The remaining occupants of the house were trapped under the debris caused by the impact.

Residents of the area expressed their concerns about the steep lanes, emphasizing that such accidents are not uncommon due to the challenging terrain. They urged the authorities to take necessary measures to improve the safety of the neighborhood.

This unfortunate incident serves as a reminder of the importance of ensuring proper safety measures when operating heavy vehicles in residential areas, especially on inclined roads.

As investigations into the incident continue, the community mourns the loss of Amir Tawfiq and prays for the swift recovery of the injured victims.
