Suspect Detained in Connection with Gruesome Murders of Six Individuals, Including Twin Children

A man believed to be responsible for the brutal killings of his close friend and five members of the victim’s family has been apprehended by Kamareddy police. The suspect, identified as Prashanth, is currently undergoing interrogation to uncover the precise details surrounding these cold-blooded crimes. Additionally, three acquaintances of the accused, suspected of aiding and abetting in three of the murders, have also been taken into custody.

Background and Timeline of the Murders

The prime suspect, Prashanth, and the family members of the victim resided in Makloor village, situated in Nizamabad district. The first murder occurred on November 28, with the final one taking place on December 13, according to an unnamed police officer.

In the second week of December, the lifeless body of an unidentified woman, later identified as Sravanthi, was discovered in a secluded area in Bhoompally, belonging to the Sadashivanagar police station jurisdiction. A crucial clue in the form of a mobile phone was found at the crime scene, providing investigators with an important lead.

Further examination of the mobile phone’s Call Data Record led investigators to suspect Prashanth’s involvement. Although initially denying any connection to the woman’s murder during questioning, the proximity of his mobile phone to the crime scene, along with other evidence, strengthened the suspicions held by the police.

Confession Unveils Additional Murders

Following intensive interrogation, Prashanth reportedly confessed to five more murders committed prior to Sravanthi’s killing. Investigators discovered that Sravanthi’s elder brother, Prasad, shared a close friendship with Prashanth, having grown up together in Makloor village. Reports suggest that Prasad, who had returned from working in Gulf countries, engaged in an extramarital affair with an unmarried woman from their village.

Allegedly, the woman became pregnant and tragically took her own life when Prasad refused to marry her. This incident led to social boycotts imposed by village elders on Prasad and his family members, according to anonymous sources within the investigation team.

Prasad was subsequently arrested in connection with the affair and remanded in judicial custody. After being released on bail, Prasad and his family relocated to various locations in Nizamabad, including Armoor, Bheemgal, and Palvancha. Due to the opposition they faced from village elders, Prasad decided to sell two small houses he owned in the village.

With the intention of eventually selling the properties or using them as collateral to repay Prasad’s debts, he registered the houses under Prashanth’s name. Police sources reveal that Prashanth saw an opportunity to claim ownership of the houses by eliminating Prasad and his entire family. Allegedly, he first murdered Prasad in Dichpally after luring him to an isolated location.

Reports are currently being verified regarding Prashanth’s alleged disposal of Prasad’s wife, Ramani, by throwing her into a river in Basara under false pretenses. The couple’s twins, Chaitrik and Chaitrika, were reportedly killed at Son river in Mindora. Furthermore, Prasad’s physically challenged sister, Swapna, met her tragic end in Chegunta of Medak. Lastly, Prasad’s second sister became the final victim at Bhoompally. Concrete evidence to corroborate these confessions is yet to be gathered, according to police sources.

As investigations continue, authorities are diligently working to uncover the truth behind these horrific murders and ensure that justice is served.
