Accident – Death – Obituary News : Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine, has suffered what is being described as the “largest ever” drone attack by Russia, leaving at least five people wounded. The attack was claimed by the anti-Putin Russian paramilitary group, the Freedom of Russia Legion, which is based in Ukraine. They stated that they carried out a cross-border raid into Russia’s Belgorod region and destroyed a platoon stronghold of Russian troops near Trebreno village. The group did not provide details on whether infrastructure was destroyed or if any soldiers were killed, but they claimed to have left behind mines.

These claims have not been independently verified, and Russia has not commented on the incident. However, it is worth noting that the Freedom of Russia Legion is designated as a terrorist group in Russia. The group was formed in the spring of 2022 with the aim of fighting against Putin’s forces from within the ranks of the Ukrainian armed forces.
