Multiple Passengers Hospitalized in Rollover Crash After Parking Lot Joyride
A number of individuals were admitted to the hospital with severe injuries on Saturday following an apparent joyride incident that took a disastrous turn in a parking lot in east Colorado Springs, as confirmed by law enforcement authorities.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. near the vicinity of 1600 South Circle Drive.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered that a group of individuals had gathered at the parking lot to engage in reckless driving maneuvers commonly known as “donuts.” The vehicle involved in the incident was reportedly driving in circles, with five people hanging out of the windows. Tragically, at some point during this dangerous activity, the vehicle toppled over, resulting in a rollover crash that caused harm to the passengers.
The crash inflicted “serious life-threatening” injuries on several individuals, as stated by the police. The driver, identified as Marisol Wentling, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of reckless driving. It remains unclear whether Wentling was among those injured in the accident.
