A tragic incident in Camden, New Jersey has claimed the life of a shooting victim who had been in critical condition for nearly a month, according to officials.

On the evening of November 20, at approximately 9:08 p.m., the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office (CCPO) received a 911 call reporting a shooting on Hunter Drive. Responding officers discovered the victim, identified as Anthony Young, with an apparent gunshot wound.

Young was immediately rushed to Cooper University Hospital, where he fought for his life in critical condition for almost a month. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries at 1:25 p.m. on Friday. He was 38 years old and a resident of Camden.
