Authorities Identify Suspects Arrested in Connection with Lancaster Road Rage Shooting

Authorities have recently identified two individuals who were arrested in connection with a tragic road rage shooting incident in Lancaster, California. The incident resulted in the untimely death of a 4-year-old boy, sending shockwaves throughout the community.

The shooting took place at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Friday in the vicinity of Sierra Highway and East Avenue J, as confirmed by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Following thorough investigation, the sheriff’s department has named the two suspects as a 29-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, both of whom have been booked on suspicion of murder.

Authorities have refrained from disclosing which of the suspects was allegedly driving the vehicle involved in the incident.

According to investigators, the incident unfolded when the victims’ vehicle, carrying the young boy, his father, and his mother, was cut off by another driver. Subsequently, the second driver pursued the victims through surface streets. As the victims’ vehicle slowed down, the suspect pulled up alongside the passenger side and began firing shots.

Tragically, the young boy, identified as Gor Adamyan, was seated in the back when he was struck by gunfire in the upper body. His parents immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital, but despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead.

Following the shooting, law enforcement officials swiftly located the suspects’ vehicle in close proximity to the scene and proceeded to apprehend the man and woman on suspicion of murder.

A GoFundMe page has been established to support Gor Adamyan’s grieving family, with donations exceeding $1,600 as of Monday.

According to the page, the family was en route to a store to purchase groceries when the tragic shooting incident unfolded.

Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, who represents the Lancaster area, expressed her condemnation of the senseless killing of the young boy.

“The loss of this young boy is truly shocking,” she stated. “A family is now inexplicably robbed of their beloved child. Acts of random and unacceptable violence have no place on our roads. To ensure justice, I urge the authorities to prosecute the suspects responsible for this heinous murder to the fullest extent of the law.”

She further extended her gratitude towards the swift actions of law enforcement professionals, commending their quick response in apprehending the suspects and removing them from the community.
