26-year-old Man Fatally Shot After Allegedly Threatening Waffle House Customers in Center Point, Alabama
CENTER POINT, Ala. (WIAT) — A 26-year-old man lost his life in the early hours of Sunday morning after reportedly making threats to shoot customers at a Waffle House located in the Center Point community of Alabama.
According to reports, at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received a distress call regarding an individual making threats to shoot someone in the Waffle House parking lot situated on Center Point Parkway. Upon arrival, law enforcement found Cristall Terrell Hereford, aged 26, lying motionless in the parking area. Hereford was identified as the individual responsible for the threats and was pronounced dead at the scene.
An ongoing investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding Hereford’s alleged threats towards the customers and the events leading up to his fatal shooting. The identity and whereabouts of the person who fired the fatal shot remain unknown at this time.
