Meanwhile, in a separate incident, Jackson Police are also probing a shooting that resulted in the death of DeAsia Bracey and left two others injured. The fatal incident took place on Sunday morning when an unidentified gunman opened fire on the car Bracey was traveling in with two companions. The assailants were driving a red Hyundai Sonata, which subsequently crashed at the intersection of Ellis Avenue and St. Charles Street. The suspects fled the scene on foot, evading the police’s immediate capture.
