Thane Woman Seeks Justice from Prime Minister Narendra Modi after Alleged Car Attack by Senior Bureaucrat’s Son
A shocking incident unfolded in Thane city when Priya Singh, the victim, accused her boyfriend, the son of a senior bureaucrat, of attempting to intentionally hit her with his car. Seeking justice, Priya has now turned to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for support. In a distressing revelation, she claimed that the police had coerced her to sign a document the previous night, but she refused due to the absence of legal representation.

Recalling the incident, Priya stated, “Last night, a few policemen visited me and attempted to force me into signing a document. Without legal counsel or anyone from my family present, I declined their request. They grew angry and left when I refused. I have immense faith in the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister, and all I want is justice.”
The terrifying incident occurred early Monday morning near a hotel in Thane, resulting in a case being filed against the accused, Ashwajit Gaikwad, by the local authorities.
Providing further details, Priya revealed the complexities of her relationship with her boyfriend, spanning over four and a half years. Unaware of his marital status initially, she later discovered that he was married. According to Priya, her boyfriend assured her that they were no longer together and expressed his desire to marry her. She had been living with him for an extended period. However, when she confronted him about his presence with his wife that night, he became aggressive, leading to a heated argument.
As a result of the car attack, Priya suffered severe injuries, including three broken bones in her right leg, which required surgery. She also sustained deep injuries from her left shoulder to her hips, rendering her unable to move her body. Despite filing an FIR four days ago, no action was taken until she shared her ordeal on social media. Subsequently, the police extended their support. To ensure a meticulous investigation, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to probe the Thane incident.

DCP Zone 5, Amarsingh Jadhav, disclosed, “An offence has been registered under sections 279, 338, 323, 504, 34 IPC. Local police officers have conducted a preliminary investigation. Today, an SIT has been formed, and we are diligently questioning all witnesses. So far, we have recorded three statements.”
The victim, a 26-year-old woman, endured this horrifying ordeal allegedly orchestrated by her boyfriend, who happens to be the son of a senior bureaucrat. Identified as Ashwajit Gaikwad, the accused now faces legal consequences for his actions.
