In a shocking series of events, Richard Bradley Jr, a suspected serial killer, has been accused of luring his victims into the Washington wilderness under the pretense of digging for hidden treasure. Once there, he mercilessly murdered them and looted their remains.
Richard Bradley Jr, 40, was initially charged in May 2021 for the murder and burial of 44-year-old Brandi Blake at the 160-acre Game Farm Park in Auburn. However, in the past two weeks, he now faces three additional murder charges.
According to court documents obtained by The Seattle Times, the authorities discovered the remains of Brandi Blake and three others at Game Farm Park. The victims were identified as 36-year-old Emilio Maturin, 59-year-old Michael Goeman, and Goeman’s 31-year-old son Vance Lakey. Prosecutors believe that all four fell victim to Bradley’s alleged scheme, losing their lives shortly after acquiring significant sums of money.
Bradley is said to have convinced each victim to assist him in unearthing hidden gold in the wooded areas, only to brutally kill them and steal their belongings, including their vehicles. Witnesses reported seeing Bradley driving the victims’ vehicles shortly after their disappearances.

The first victim, Emilio Maturin, was reported missing in September 2019. His girlfriend told detectives that she overheard Bradley persuading Maturin to help him dig up buried gold in Auburn. Maturin, carrying a pound of heroin, some meth, and $15,000 in cash, followed Bradley to Game Farm Park in his new BMW. Hours later, the police discovered the unregistered BMW parked near a vast field at the park. When they attempted to stop the driver, the car fled. Bradley was later apprehended after a car and foot chase and charged with eluding the police. However, he continued his alleged crimes for two more years.
Goeman and his son became Bradley’s next victims. They were found shot to death in March 2021, shortly after receiving a substantial sum of money. Their bodies were discovered on an unpaved road close to the park where the previous victim’s remains were found.
Following the deaths of Goeman and his son, Brandi Blake, who had recently won $20,000 at a casino, disappeared. Her remains were later found in a shallow grave in the same month. The cause of her death was determined to be blunt force trauma. Bradley had also been charged with second-degree arson for allegedly attempting to set fire to the impounded SUV of the deceased father and son.
Bradley is set to stand trial next month for the murder of Brandi Blake. However, he now faces two charges of premeditated first-degree murder, two charges of second-degree murder, and one charge of second-degree arson for the additional murders. He has not yet entered a plea for the new charges.
These shocking revelations have sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the dangers of trusting strangers and the need for heightened vigilance. The trial will undoubtedly shed more light on the extent of Bradley’s alleged crimes and provide closure to the families affected by these tragic events.
