Police Crack Two Blind Murder Cases in Karachi, Arrest Two Suspects

KARACHI – The law enforcement authorities in Karachi claimed on Saturday that they have successfully solved two blind murder cases, leading to the arrest of two suspects.

In the first case, the body of Azhar Hussain was discovered inside a bag on a footpath in the Khuda Ki Basti area on November 13. Amjad Kiyani, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Surjani Town police station, revealed that the suspect Talib Hussain, who is the former husband of a woman named Naz, was arrested in connection with the murder. It was revealed that Naz had married the deceased, Azhar.

According to SHO Amjad Kiyani, Talib Hussain, along with his wife and children, had relocated to Faisalabad. During their time there, Azhar and Naz developed an illicit relationship and eventually got married. This alleged affair became the motive behind the murder.

The investigation uncovered that the accused had purchased a travel bag, belt, and sleeping pills before visiting Azhar’s residence to discuss matters related to the children. It is alleged that during the meeting, Talib dissolved the sleeping pills into Azhar’s tea. Once Azhar became incapacitated, Talib reportedly killed him, stuffed the body inside the bag, and fled the scene by taking a rickshaw to Surjani Town, where he left the bag on a footpath.

In another unrelated incident, the Sher Shah police successfully apprehended a suspect involved in the blind murder of Naseeb Zar, the watchman of an ice factory near Gulbai Chowk. The suspect, identified as Salehullah, was taken into custody by the police.

The police authorities have been praised for their swift action and dedication in solving these blind murder cases. The arrests of the two suspects bring a sense of relief to the victims’ families and the local community.
