A tragic incident unfolded in Lahore’s Salamatpura area, as a man allegedly killed four people, including his ex-wife and her father. The incident occurred when the victims returned from a wedding event, according to a report by ARY News.

The accused, identified as Salman, reportedly opened fire on his ex-wife and her family, resulting in their untimely deaths. The sister and brother of the deceased ex-wife were also among the victims. Additionally, a 55-year-old woman named Taj Bibi and a five-year-old girl named Minahil sustained injuries during the firing.

This unfortunate incident adds to the growing number of cases involving domestic disputes in Pakistan. Earlier, in Dera Ismail Khan, a man from the Rehmani Khel area killed his wife, which led to a retaliatory attack by the brothers of the deceased woman. The attack resulted in the deaths of the man’s father, mother, and sister, as reported by ARY News.

In another incident in Baldia town of Karachi, a man named Noorullah allegedly shot his wife to death following a domestic dispute. The Baldia Superintendent of Police stated that the deceased woman had been staying at her parent’s house for the past two months due to conflicts with her husband.

These tragic events highlight the need for increased awareness and measures to address domestic violence and disputes. Authorities should work towards creating a safer environment for individuals facing such challenges.
