Body of 13-Year-Old Boy Found Hanging in Well in Rajasthan’s Tonk District

Jaipur, December 17 (PTI) – A shocking incident unfolded in Rajasthan’s Tonk district, as the lifeless body of a 13-year-old boy, identified as Amrish Meena, was discovered hanging inside a well on Saturday evening. The police have revealed that the young victim’s hands and feet were bound before being hanged, suggesting a heinous act of murder by an unidentified assailant.

The unfortunate incident took place in Mahendwas area, leaving the local community in a state of deep shock and anguish. Amrish Meena, a diligent student studying in Class 8, was last seen by his father as he headed towards the nearby field. The concerned parent had even advised his son not to venture out in the evening, but the determined young boy assured him of a quick return.

However, as darkness fell and Amrish failed to come back home, his family initiated a frantic search for him. Their worst fears were confirmed when, along with the assistance of concerned neighbors, they discovered the lifeless body of their beloved child hanging in the depths of the well.
