The sentencing includes two life sentences without the possibility of parole for the two counts of murder, and two more life sentences for the two counts of first-degree assault. Additionally, King will serve 60 years for the four counts of armed criminal action.

According to reports, on the fateful day of December 31, 2020, King was facing a criminal charge in Christian County and had devised a plan to “kill everyone in the house,” steal a van, and flee Missouri.

The brutal stabbing took place in the afternoon at the 2000 block of West Scott Street. Disturbingly, the injured children informed law enforcement that there were others still inside the house.

Upon entering the home, officers discovered the lifeless bodies of 32-year-old Stephanie Plumb and 13-year-old Dylan Moore, who had succumbed to their injuries sustained during the assault.
