A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable allegedly took his own life in Mumbai on Saturday. The incident occurred near Jio Garden in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) area. The deceased, identified as Mukesh Khetariya, used his service rifle AK-47 to end his life. He hailed from Amreli district in Gujarat.

Meanwhile, the police discovered the rifle and 29 rounds of live ammunition at the scene. The BKC police have filed a case, and an investigation is underway.

Similar Tragedy in Chhattisgarh

In a similar incident earlier this year, a CISF jawan allegedly committed suicide with his service weapon in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur. The constable, identified as Binu M and attached to the CRPF’s 85th Battalion, used his service rifle to shoot himself inside his barrack at the battalion headquarters, according to an official. Upon hearing the gunshot, his colleagues rushed to the barrack and found him lying in a pool of blood.

Central Industrial Security Force Constable Found Dead in Mumbai

A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable, identified as Mukesh Khetariya, allegedly took his own life on Saturday in Mumbai. The incident occurred near Jio Garden in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) area.

According to sources, Khetariya ended his life using his service rifle, an AK-47. He was a resident of Amreli district in Gujarat. The police recovered the rifle and 29 rounds of live cartridges from the spot.

The BKC police have filed a case and are currently investigating the matter.

Similar Incident in Chhattisgarh

In February this year, a CISF jawan named Binu M allegedly shot himself dead with his service weapon in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur. The 37-year-old constable was attached to the CRPF’s 85th Battalion. He used his service rifle to commit the act inside his barrack at the battalion headquarters. Upon hearing the gunshot, his colleagues rushed to the barrack and found him lying in a pool of blood.
