Accident – Death – Obituary News :
A 22-year-old engineering student tragically lost her life in a fatal accident in Greater Noida. According to the local police, the incident occurred on Saturday evening in the Knowledge Park area when the victim, identified as Divyanshi Sharma, collided with a crane that she had called for assistance after her car broke down.

Divyanshi Sharma, a resident of Nirankari Colony in GTB Nagar, Delhi, was pursuing her engineering degree at a private university in Greater Noida.
As per Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ashok Kumar, the unfortunate incident unfolded when Sharma’s Honda Amaze broke down on her way home from college. Acting quickly, she contacted a private crane service near KB Mart in the Knowledge Park area to tow her vehicle.
Tragically, while the crane was in the process of towing her car, Sharma realized that she had left her keys inside the vehicle. In an attempt to halt the driver, she ran after the crane but ended up colliding with it as the vehicle slowed down while making a turn. Consequently, Sharma suffered severe head and facial injuries as she fell to the ground.
Despite her friends’ efforts to save her, Sharma succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at a private hospital.

The driver of the crane fled the scene, leaving behind a devastated family and a grieving community. The police have registered a case against the driver and formed special teams to apprehend him.
Upon receiving the distressing news, Sharma’s friends promptly informed her family and the police about the incident. The family has filed a written complaint against the crane driver, leading to the registration of an FIR under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including causing death by negligence.
The untimely demise of Divyanshi Sharma has left everyone in shock and mourning. Her tragic accident serves as a reminder of the importance of road safety and the need for drivers to exercise caution. The incident also highlights the significance of timely car maintenance and the importance of keeping spare keys readily accessible.
