‘With the utmost sadness, I regret to inform you all that my dear baby brother has passed away,’ she expressed in her post.

‘Let us always remember his infectious humor, his compassionate heart, and his boundless generosity.

‘Rest easy, Mahee. I will love you eternally.’

According to family friend Syeda Faria, the young boy had just finished school for the year on the day of the tragic incident.

‘Yesterday marked the end of the school term and Mahee’s final day of school for the year,’ she remarked.

‘The thought is spine-chilling. It was his last day. His last morning, his last night, his final goodbye to his mother as he walked out the door.

‘Mahee, the boy who was always measured against my own brother’s height. “Let’s see if you’ve grown taller than me,” my dad used to say to him.

I am still grappling with waves of shock and the harsh reality of what has occurred.’

Another grieving loved one expressed their struggle to accept the tragic loss.

‘Why did we lose this beautiful flower so early? Why this innocent face? This perfect gentleman?’ Karim Mostafil questioned.

‘He was innocent, humorous, and honest.

‘Our eyes are filled with tears. We refuse to accept it.

‘We are in shock, our hearts shattered.’

Mostafiz Rahman expressed his devastation at the missed opportunity to have more fun times with Mr. Uddin.

‘He was the most adorable and kind-hearted, fun-loving kid any parent could wish for,’ he said.
