The victims have been identified as 47-year-old Melissa Powell and her 16-year-old son, Riordan Powell. The entire community is mourning the loss of these beloved individuals.

Riordan Powell, a student at both Broomfield High School and Boulder TEC, was known for his kind and compassionate nature.
