Driver Caught Speeding at 125 mph in Greenwich, Connecticut

GREENWICH, Conn. – Connecticut State Police apprehended a driver on Interstate 95 in Greenwich after they were caught speeding at an alarming 125 mph in a 55 mph zone. The incident occurred early Friday morning at around 12:17 a.m.
A vigilant trooper monitoring traffic on I-95 northbound near Exit 4 noticed a BMW driving erratically. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the BMW was clocked at an excessive speed of 125 mph, more than double the posted speed limit of 55 mph. The trooper promptly pulled over the vehicle to address the dangerous situation.
The driver, identified as 32-year-old Genesis Rosado-Inga from Stamford, was charged with reckless driving due to her extreme speeding. Following her arrest, Rosado-Inga was released on a $500 bond. She is scheduled for arraignment on January 5, 2024, at Stamford Superior Court.
