“Eight Suspects Arrested in Violent Protest Investigation: Edin Alex Enamorado Among the Accused”

Accident – Death – Obituary News : Eight individuals have been apprehended and are facing multiple charges after an investigation into a protest that took place in Victorville earlier this year, as reported by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Among the suspects is Edin Alex Enamorado, a 36-year-old Upland resident, who participated in the protest against the recently imposed restrictions on unlicensed street vendors by the Fontana City Council.

The Victorville Police Department initiated an inquiry into a violent assault that occurred during the protest in September. As the investigation progressed, it expanded to involve the Upland Police Department, Fontana Police Department, and Pomona Police Department. It was discovered that the group of individuals responsible for the assault was allegedly involved in other acts of violence during protests in San Bernardino and Los Angeles counties.

After thorough investigation, law enforcement identified and apprehended eight suspects involved in these incidents. The individuals arrested are Enamorado, Wendy Lujan, David Chavez, Stephanie Amesquita, Gullit Eder Acevedo, Edwin Pena, Fernando Lopez, and Vanessa Carrasco. Search warrants were executed on December 14 at various locations in San Bernardino, Upland, Ontario, Riverside, and Los Angeles. Substantial evidence was collected, leading to the arrest of all eight suspects. They were subsequently booked at the High Desert Detention Center on charges including assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, conspiracy, and other felony offenses. Presently, all suspects remain in custody without bail.

Sheriff Shannon Dicus emphasized, “The actions of this group do not fall under the protection of the First Amendment. It is illegal to assault someone simply because they hold differing opinions. In San Bernardino County, in collaboration with our local police chiefs, we are committed to upholding the law and safeguarding citizens from such unlawful behavior.”
