Bullet-Riddled Body Found in Masaurhi, Patna: Second Gruesome Murder in Days

Patna, Bihar – In a shocking turn of events, just days after the broad daylight murder of a 16-year-old girl, another disturbing incident has unfolded in the rural area of Masaurhi, Patna. The police have discovered the bullet-riddled body of a youth identified as Amit Kumar, approximately 25 years old. The locals first spotted his blood-soaked body inside a car parked on the Patna-Gaya four-lane road.

The authorities have sent Amit’s body to the sub-divisional hospital for postmortem. The car, which bears a Delhi registration number, has been seized by the police. Patna senior superintendent of police, Rajeev Mishra, revealed that Amit had been attending his friend’s wedding ceremony in Kako, Jehanabad, where he tragically lost his life due to celebratory firing. Mishra stated, “The person who fired the bullet has also been identified. After being shot, the accused brought him to Patna and left his body in a car in Masaurhi police station area.”

The Masaurhi station house officer, Sanjay Kumar, mentioned that no identity card was found on Amit’s body. The vehicle’s number plate is DL14CH-1585, registered in Amit’s name. The police are actively investigating the case to bring the culprits to justice.
