Danielle Evans Identified as Woman Found Dead at South Wales Industrial Estate Blast Site

The body of a woman found at the site of a massive explosion in South Wales has been identified as Danielle Evans. The incident occurred at the Treforest Industrial Estate in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Danielle Evans was tragically found dead at the scene as investigators conducted a search following the eruption of a powerful blast that completely destroyed a building. The authorities have confirmed that the victim’s family is receiving support from specially trained officers during this difficult time.

After the incident on Wednesday evening, floral tributes were left at the site to honor Danielle Evans and to express condolences for her untimely demise.

The cause of the explosion is still under investigation, and the incident has been classified as a major incident due to the severity of the fire that broke out in the Rizle House warehouse.

The affected building housed a gym, which was completely engulfed in flames and at risk of collapsing. Additionally, there were 12 other commercial units within the premises.

As a result of the explosion and subsequent fire, nearby roads had to be closed for safety reasons. During the initial response, a person was reported missing, but fortunately, no other serious injuries have been reported apart from the tragic loss of Danielle Evans.

South Wales Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has any relevant footage from the area at the time to come forward and assist with the investigation. This includes individuals with CCTV, Ring doorbell footage, or dashcam recordings.

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Raikes reiterated the appeal for information, stating, “I would appeal to anyone who has any information and has not yet spoken to police to come forward, and I would ask for anyone with any CCTV, Ring doorbell footage, or dashcam footage to get in touch.”
