Jeffrey Ludlow Identified as Victim of Fatal Shooting in Richmond’s Southside

RICHMOND, Va. – The Richmond Police Department has officially released the identity of the man who tragically lost his life following a shooting incident on Irvington Street in the city’s Southside. The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Jeffrey Ludlow, hailing from the Woodbridge area of Prince William County.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, December 13, at approximately 8 p.m. Responding promptly to a report of a person shot, officers arrived at an apartment located on the 3400 block of Irvington Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Ludlow unresponsive and lying on the front porch.

Ludlow, who had sustained a gunshot wound, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Notably, a man was found at the location and was subsequently detained by the authorities. However, it is important to note that as of now, no charges have been filed against the individual in relation to the shooting, and the police report states that there are no active suspects being sought at this time.
