According to our news partners at WCPO, Springdale officers rushed to Tri-County Golf Ranch in the morning after receiving reports of a man being attacked by two large dogs. The situation demanded immediate intervention to prevent further injuries.

Upon arrival, the police discovered a 62-year-old man being viciously attacked by his business partner’s dogs. The severity of the situation required decisive action to safeguard the victim’s life and well-being.

The first officer to respond, identified as Michael DiStefano, made the difficult decision to discharge his weapon to defend the life of the victim. Unfortunately, this resulted in the unfortunate demise of both attacking dogs.

Medical professionals attending to the situation discovered that one of the rounds fired by Officer DiStefano had inadvertently hit the man being attacked in the leg. Immediate medical attention was provided to address the injuries caused by the dog attack.
