The Adamawa State Police Command recently revealed the devastating news of Florence Vandi’s suicide, stating that she took her own life while grieving the loss of her beloved boyfriend. The exact cause of Boniface’s death, which prompted Florence’s extreme action, has not been specified at this time.

Florence Vandi, originally from Michika Local Government Area in Adamawa State, was residing in Viniklang, Girei Local Government Area, where she worked at a primary health care centre. She was known for her dedication and commitment to her job.

According to the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, Florence carried out this tragic act on Tuesday, December 12. The police received a report stating that she consumed a liquid substance suspected to be otapiapia, a deadly chemical.

Investigations into the incident revealed that the young woman had taken this unfortunate decision shortly after her boyfriend, Nuhu Boniface, passed away while undergoing treatment at a hospital. It was also discovered that Florence had been employed as a health worker at Girei Primary Health Care Centre.
