A Florida man was apprehended after stealing an ambulance and driving it directly to the entrance of the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office. The incident unfolded when first responders were assisting the man, who appeared to be under the influence of drugs and in an altered mental state.

According to a press release from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Stanley Williams, managed to gain access to the front of the ambulance while paramedics were attending to him.
