Body of Missing 10-Year-Old Girl Found Decomposed in Bulandshahr

Meerut: The body of a 10-year-old girl who had been missing since December 6 was discovered in a decomposed state in a sugarcane farm in Khanpur area of Bulandshahr district. The police made the distressing discovery on Tuesday, revealing the tragic fate of the young girl.

The minor girl, a resident of Shekhpur Garhwa village, had left her house on the evening of December 6 to buy some items from a nearby shop. However, when she did not return home, her family members began a frantic search but failed to locate her. The worried father then lodged a police complaint the following day.

On Monday evening, the police received information about an unidentified body lying in a sugarcane field, suspected to be that of a girl. The body was sent for post-mortem examination and was later identified as that of the missing 10-year-old girl. The exact cause of death is still unknown, and further investigation is underway.

Bhaskar Kumar, CO (Syana), stated, “An FIR has been registered against the farm owner. Further probe on.”

The judge has requested the trial judge to expedite the case and conclude it within a year.
