Further investigation revealed that Green had provided the student with a secret cell phone to facilitate private communication between them.

The sheriff’s office has stated that Green engaged in inappropriate conversations of a sexual nature with the student.

Facing the charges against him, Green surrendered himself, leading to his arrest. He was subsequently arraigned in the Town of Esopus Justice Court and released on his own recognizance. Green has been ordered to appear in court at a later date.

The sheriff’s office has also emphasized that the case remains open and the investigation is ongoing.
