San Francisco Tech Worker Found Dead in Apartment, Boyfriend Arrested for Murder

Published on [Date]

A tragic incident unfolded in San Francisco last month when a 27-year-old tech worker, Kiimberly Wong, was found dead in her apartment. The police have since arrested her boyfriend, 29-year-old Scott Fisher, on suspicion of murder. This case is being treated as a fatal incident of domestic violence.

Wong’s body was discovered during a welfare check on November 30 in her Presidio Heights apartment. Law enforcement authorities have not yet released the exact cause of death, but detectives believe it was the result of domestic violence.

The San Francisco Police Department has been tight-lipped about the ongoing investigation. However, they have confirmed that Fisher, who lived with Wong at the Clay Street apartment, was arrested in Concord, California, about 30 miles northeast of the crime scene.

“Officers arrived on scene and located an adult female who was unresponsive. Officers rendered aid and summoned paramedics to the scene. Despite life-saving efforts made by responders, the victim was pronounced deceased,” according to a news release from the SFPD.

Wong worked as a product designer at Plaid, a San Francisco-based website that connects customers’ financial accounts to apps and other online services. Her colleagues describe her as smart, talented, positive, and a valued member of their team. The news of her passing has devastated her coworkers.

According to Fisher’s LinkedIn profile, he recently worked at the San Francisco-based software company Databricks until October. He studied economics at the University of California Berkeley and graduated from San Ramon Valley High School in 2013.

Fisher is currently being held without bail at the San Francisco County Jail. The investigation into Wong’s death is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
