Body of Secretariat Employee Found in Patna City
Patna: The body of a secretariat employee was discovered in his rented accommodation in Patna City on Sunday. The victim, Ranjit Paswan (30), a resident of Begusarai, was found with injury marks on his head.

Paswan had been living in a rented accommodation in Ranipur Colony under the Sultanganj police station area. The police had to break open the locked door to enter his room, where they found his lifeless body lying on the floor. Paswan’s body was sent to Nalanda Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.
The in-charge of Sultanganj police station, Nagmani Kumar, stated that a deep injury mark was found on the right side of Paswan’s head. The initial investigation suggests that Paswan may have fallen accidentally, resulting in his death due to excessive bleeding. There were no signs of trespassing in the room, and it took the police half an hour to break open the strong door.
The locals informed the police that Paswan only stayed in his rented accommodation for 5-6 days a month, and very few people in the locality knew him. The police are currently recording statements from his family members and investigating the case from all angles.

Family of Four Found Hanging in Varanasi Dharamshala Room
The bodies of four family members from Andhra Pradesh were found hanging in a room in Varanasi. The deceased were identified as Konda Babu, his wife Lavanya, and their sons Rajesh and Jairam. A suicide note written in Telugu mentioned a monetary dispute in their district. Further investigation will include translating the note and identifying the individuals involved. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
