Man Fatally Shot in Parked Car Outside Primos Food Store in Houston
A tragic incident occurred on Sunday evening in northwest Harris County when a man was shot and killed inside a parked car near Old Bammel North Houston. The shooting took place in the vicinity of Primos Food Store, located at 14180 Highway 249. The victim, identified as Bryson Walton, 28, lost his life in this senseless act of violence.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office revealed that the suspect, described as a Black man, was seen outside Primos Food Store at around 6:15 p.m. Eyewitnesses reported that an altercation ensued between Walton and the suspect in the store’s parking lot. Tragically, as Walton returned to his car, the suspect followed and opened fire, ultimately taking his life.
Authorities are currently investigating the motive behind this fatal shooting. While it remains uncertain if there was a prior argument between the victim and the suspect, investigators believe that they did not know each other personally. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Crime Scene Units have taken charge of the case and are diligently working to gather evidence and information.
